Bible Reading Plan
bible reading plan for lent
During the six weeks of Lent, if you would like to have some additional reading and reflection as we move through this season towards Easter, we recommend THIS Bible reading devotional from N.T. Wright called "Lent for Everyone." It is part of the YouVersion Bible app that we are doing our Bible Reading Plan from, so you'll already be familiar with how it works. Start the plan on Wednesday, February 17th, the first day of Lent, and it will take you through to Easter.

1 Corinthians Study with Ron Voth
Ron Voth is offering a series of 1-hour bible studies on 1 Corinthians 1-5 on Tuesday nights, starting February 16 evening and running for eight weeks. The study will be delivered by way of Zoom. The biblical text will be the focus of this study, exploring Paul’s relationship with the church in Corinth. You will discover how Paul handles this church and the problems they have - even though some of them think they are more spiritual than Paul himself! The early church were not saints in many respects, but they were called to be just that.
This class is open to ages 15-95. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
From January 1, 2021 - December 31, 2022, we will be working through a Bible Reading Plan as a church. This is a two-year plan, which we hope everyone will feel able to engage with. If you are a higher volume reader, we encourage you to stay on pace by reading slower or listening longer. For those who find this plan overwhelming, we encourage you to read what you can each day; maybe it's one chapter, or maybe just half a chapter. In either case, we encourage you to practice the discipline of daily bible reading as a church family.
Should you fall behind, simply pick up on the scheduled reading for the date we're on; there is great benefit in reading the same passages as others, so that we can discuss them together.
Every weekday at 3:24pm on social media, we post a verse of the day with accompanying thoughts - be sure to engage with those as well and share what stood out to you!
