Looking For 2 or 3-Bedroom Housing

Hello all! My name is Cade and I am looking for a longish-term rental in Abbotsford, preferably on or near Sumas Mountain. I would be looking for a 2 or 3-bedroom place, preferably the top floor of a house or a whole house but open to basement suites or apartments if they are right. I would really love space to garden and lots of light for indoor plants. I would be looking for somewhere I could move into in either May or June.

A little about myself, I will be graduating from Columbia Bible College this April with a degree in Applied Leadership and a diploma in Outdoor Leadership. I love all things outdoors, skiing, climbing, running, etc., and have been getting quite into cooking recently! I am a non-smoker, non-party-er who lives a pretty quiet life when I am not out in the mountains. I have been doing Wildfire fighting over the last few summers and have just got a job as a paramedic following graduation, and my roommate does construction full-time. The budget would be roughly $650-$800 per bedroom, so between $1300-$1600 for a two-bedroom and $1900-$2400 for a three-bedroom. If you have a space that you think would be a good fit and are interested in having me as a tenant please let me know!

Responsibilities:

Administrative:

- Organize Meetings/Board Planning Retreat

  • Schedule the caterer/Buy the food for the event
  • Organize set-up and tear down of event
  • Prepare official meeting notes based on discussion

- Board Meeting Assistance

  • Coordination and formatting of board packages
  • Record meeting and take meeting minutes
  • Manage the board presentation during meeting and the board members on a video call
  • Preparation of official board minutes

- General Office Management

  • Assist operations staff with general office tasks (order and maintain office supplies, manage photocopier, manage Adobe licensing, purchase gifts/cards/flowers as required, manage company voicemail and ‘info’ email, maintain contact lists, assist with keys, etc)

Communications:

Additional Duties:

- Mail collection, distribution and filing
- Various other duties as required
