About Janice
As Children's Ministries Program Director, my primary role is working under Pastor Jeremia to direct summer ministry programs like this year's Stellar SummerBlast and KidsQuest on Sundays. This is my third year working with the SAC team and I am so excited to get started on another summer of building relationships with families, mentoring kids, and seeing God work in and through the little ones in our congregation.
I grew up in North Burnaby and moved to Abbotsford 4 years ago when I began studying at Columbia Bible College. In that time, South Abbotsford Church has become a second home for me. I am so thankful for the opportunities I have had to lead youth in Elevate and complete my internship by working with Children's Ministries. Through my time here, I have grown in my literacy of the Bible, in leadership, and in my relationship with God and his family.
Outside of Church and school, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, most likely outdoors--going to the beach, hiking, throwing a frisbee, biking, playing video games, and watching movies. I am a firm believer that there's nothing better than a day in the ocean with the people I love, and some iced coffee or tea. When I'm not hanging out with friends, I'm usually doing some type of art, planning outings, or dancing.
