My main roles at South Abbotsford Church are giving pastoral leadership to our Worship Arts and Young Adults ministries.
I grew up attending South Abbotsford with my family for almost my whole life, which means I have had an array of experiences at South Abbotsford such as serving regularly in youth and worship ministries, traveling abroad with short term missions team, or sneaking onto the church roof and getting attacked by wasps.
I am honored now to be part of a new adventure at South Abbotsford as a part of the Pastoral Staff. I have been married to my wife, Carlee, since August 2016. Carlee and I had been friends for almost our whole lives while we attended school together from Kindergarten to University. I graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2016 with a BA in Criminology, where I learned a lot about the “mission of restitution” that both our Canadian Correctional system and the gospel share.
In my spare time I love to play Disc Golf and Slow Pitch baseball, hang out with my family and friends, cheer for my favorite sports teams (Canucks, Raptors, and Bluejays in particular), and play my guitars or drums. I find true joy and purpose from worshiping God and leading others to do the same, both individually and corporately.
My dream for South Abbotsford is that we be a group of people that demonstrate a true desire to worship God corporately, and then boldly go and live our lives as a form of worship to Him daily.
