Sunday Gathering

What time on Sunday?
We gather every Sunday at 8:30am and 10:30am at our Huntingdon location. You can show up a few minutes early to grab a coffee and seat. There will be people there to greet you and help you find a parking spot. We save you a newcomer spot near the front, for your first visit.

Our gathering time usually runs about one hour and fifteen minutes.
What do people wear?
You'll find people dress in a whole range from smart casual to very casual. Some people want to dress up a bit while others enjoy the atmosphere of come-as-you-are. Either way, you'll be welcomed and feel at home. Just probably leave your tie & jacket at home, along with the prom dress!

What about kids?

We have nursery and kids programs up to including grade 5. We want our kids to feel like this is their church too, so they join us for part of the worship time. It's a good idea to come early to sign them in, and then we'll let you know when we release them to their classes.

They have a stellar program and group of teachers and helpers to make their time meaningful and fun.

We also have a middle-school discussion group that meets during the service a few times per month.
What's worship like?
We start on time, and things kick off with a few songs, usually punctuated with a call to worship from a Psalm or scripture passage.
During the musical worship time, people sing out. You might see people raising hands, kneeling or even sometimes dancing. This is because we believe worship is an expression of our deep hearts and also demonstrated with our physical bodies (as talked about a lot in the Bible).

And Jesus always meets us. Not because we deserve it, or are doing the right thing, but because He loves us. And He loves to move among us as we gather. To heal, restore, redeem and transform.
