Journey to the Cross
On Good Friday (April 19), we invite you to come to the church for a self-guided tour through Journey to the Cross - a morning that will lead you throughout the building as you read and reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The format to the morning is very similar to previous years, but we have made some changes to the presentations and actual room flow to the morning. If you've participated in previous years, we invite you to come again and invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you engage in this updated experience of a Journey to the Cross.
The time frame for the morning is 9am to 12pm. As it is a self-guided process, the time frame may vary anywhere from 30-90 minutes.
We are asking people to sign up for start time's again this year. The intent of having start times is to create space and time between individuals/families as they journey to the cross, rather than having large waves of participants that can be overwhelming for some, and make it difficult to reflect fully.
There are 20 spots in each time frame; these spots are per family unit (whether it is an individual, couple, or immediate family of 6+). More spots will be added once all time slots are near capacity.
Signing up for start times is incredibly helpful for our team, but please note that it's not required to participate. Should you have friends or family that decide to join you last minute, we would be delighted to have them be a part of the morning.
This Good Friday event is family-friendly and we encourage you to make use of this opportunity to reflect on Good Friday as a family.
