Dan Nicholson
Dan has been the senior pastor at South Abbotsford since September of 2005. He brought with him a passion for experiencing life in all its fullness! Life is so much more than just getting up every day and doing the same thing you did yesterday.
He and his wife June had the pleasure of raising three children and watching God shape and bless their lives. Tim, his wife Kier and his two girls, Oli and Zoe live on Vancouver Island, surfing and building houses. Kimberly and her husband Andrew live in Sydney, Australia where Kim is an oncology nurse and Andrew is in pharmaceutical sales. Angela and Jon live in Surrey, where Angela is a high school teacher and Jon installs hardwood floors. They echo the words… “We have no greater joy than to hear that our children are walking in the truth.”
June works at Trinity Western University, but on her hours off she and Dan enjoy long walks with their yellow lab, Mila. Fortunately there is a television buried in the wall in front of his treadmill so that Dan can put in the minutes that he needs to. Gardening and landscaping have been a personal pleasure where the plants provide him with quiet solitude.
If you have never experienced sugar-free mango gelato, he wants you to know that you haven’t lived!
