The leader of caring ministries will be someone who is not primarily a doer but someone who creates an environment where things get done.
Scope of Responsibility…not in order of priority
• Pre-marriage and Weddings
• Funerals and bereavement
• Pastoral Care School of Ministry
• Hospital visitation
• A counseling plan…crisis and referral
Gives oversight to…
• Deacons…visitation, benevolent assistance
• Membership/Baptism
• Divorce Care
• SAC Service Team
• Alpha Marriage
• Seniors
• Prayer Ministry
Relationships:
• Responsible to the Lead Pastor…serves on the Lead Pastor Service Team
• Mentors, equips and cares for the leaders in caring ministries
• Works in cooperation with the Pastor of Development and Equipping to assure operational funding and equipping through 3 D classes
• Works in cooperation with the Pastor of Outreach and Integration to assure a caring perspective to our hospitality and outreaching
• Administrative Assistant Sylvia Pauls provides support to caring ministries
