Ministry-at-a-Glance

Primary Ministry Focus:
John’s role with MBMSI is called Regional Mobilizer—Western Canada.  As an MBMSI Mobilization team we envision an increasing number of churches experiencing transformational life change through sacrificial prayer for the lost, passionate engagement in global mission, and generous financial investment towards holistic church planting amongst the least reached.  To achieve this vision we focus on the mobilization of Prayer, People and Resources within our family of 100+ MB churches in BC.  Ministry opportunities include preaching, training short term missions teams, running short term missions programs, meeting with church leaders and with individuals who are interested in engaging in mission in some way.  John and Christy are also involved in leadership with the TREK program.

Major Challenges:
Discerning God’s priorities for our ministry involvement.  The possibilities for engagement with churches are virtually endless.

Prayer Focus:

• That God will continue to shape and inspire us so that we will have fresh words from the Lord to share with others.
• For unity as a family.
• For safety, joy and strength for John, Christy and Alexander as John travels.
• That God will use us to mobilize many people into engagement in His Kingdom work.
