Ministry-at-a-Glance

Primary Ministry Focus:
To be attentive to where the Lord is working and through whom and to come alongside local Senegalese Christians who have God-directed visions and passions to reach out to their fellow countrymen. We see ourselves as “facilitators” and encouragers of those who we trust are wanting to live out the Gospel in the midst of a by-in-large Muslim context.

Major Challenges:
Our biggest challenge is how to respond to the needs of both the physical and spiritual needs of the emerging church and those of our Muslim neighbours.  We do not want to do projects which are not reproducible by local people so we are constantly seeking wisdom from the Lord and those who have experience. 

Prayer Focus:
Wisdom for how best to serve here. Deeper and more faithful personal walks with the Lord so our testimony does not in any way distract people from seeing Jesus as he truly is. Guidance as we launch into ministry with University students and collaboration with the Christian groups already established. Wisdom for Esther as she manages the women's tie-dying group.
