About Michael
I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of the South Abbotsford staff as Executive Pastor. I have had the privilege of serving for over 30 years in pastoral roles and in MB Conference leadership positions. I serve the pastoral and support staff in their ministry roles ensuring that they have the resources they need to be effective. I also work with Church Council in the areas of finance and facility care.
My wife, Eleanor, works as a nurse on a casual basis. We have two married sons and three grandsons. Eleanor and I enjoy gardening and reading and spend most of our vacation time RVing.
My prayer for us as a church family echoes Paul's encouragement to the Colossians, " Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness" (Colossians 2:7)
